Welcome to Legacy Dry Cleaners. By using our services, including our pickup and delivery, you agree to the following terms. We promise to handle your garments with the utmost care and professional expertise.

Garment Care & Inspection

  • Manufacturer Instructions: We follow the care label instructions on every garment. If a garment lacks a care label, we will use our professional judgment based on the fabric type, but we cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from unknown fabric weaknesses.

  • Pre-existing Damage: We inspect all items upon arrival. If we notice pre-existing damage (tears, missing buttons, or fading), we will attempt to contact you before proceeding with the service.

Stains & Delicate Items

  • Stain Removal: While we are experts at stain removal, we cannot guarantee that every stain can be removed. Some stains become "set" in the fabric over time or through previous cleaning attempts.

  • Delicate Components: We take extra precautions with beads, sequins, and specialty buttons. However, Legacy is not responsible for decorations that are not "dry-clean safe" or are poorly attached by the manufacturer.

Pickup & Delivery

  • Access & Security: For contactless pickups, Legacy is not responsible for items lost or stolen once they have been picked up from or delivered to your designated "safe spot" (e.g., porch or concierge).

  • Missed Pickups: Please notify us at least 2 hours in advance if you need to reschedule.

Loss or Damage Policy

  • In the rare event of loss or damage caused by our process, Legacy Dry Cleaners will offer a settlement based on the Fair Claims Guide of the International Fabricare Institute.

  • Our liability for any lost or damaged garment shall not exceed 10 times the cost of cleaning that specific item, regardless of brand or original purchase price.

Unclaimed Items

  • We take pride in our efficiency. Items not picked up or scheduled for delivery within 90 days of completion may be donated to charity or disposed of at our discretion.

Payment

  • Payment is due upon receipt of your digital invoice or at the time of delivery. We reserve the right to hold garments until payment is settled.

Changes to Terms

We may occasionally update our terms to better serve our community. Any changes will be posted here on our website.
